今年は日本でカセットテープの国内生産が始まった1966年から60周年にあたります。この節目を記念して、Side-B Creations / CASSETTE EXPRESS による1週間にわたる展示、ワークショップ、そしてカセットDJによるライブセットを開催します。

23日の日中から24日の朝にかけて、強羅周辺の音を探索・録音して、自分だけのオリジナル・ミックス（音の「お土産」）を作りましょう。カセットテープのレーベル（ラベル）のデザインも体験できます。カセット本体とケースも用意されています。

Art Exhibition DJ Workshop

This year marks 60 years since the start of domestic production of cassettes in Japan. To honor this anniversary we’ll be showing a week long exhibition, a workshop and live cassette DJ set presented by Side-B Creations / CASSETTE EXPRESS.

Vintage devices, cassette art, listening activities and more will be on display

[WORKSHOP] 8.23 - 8.24
During the day of the 23rd and morning of 24th, explore and record the surrounding sounds of Gora to create your own original mix, and audio souvenir. Try your had at designing a label to make the cassette your own. Cassettes and case will also be provided.

In the dining space, DJ JUNO B will be performing a cassette DJ set. Have a listen with a drink or while having dinner.

JUNO B (ジュノビー) は、東京を拠点に国内外で活動するBOOMBOX DJ。
ヴィンテージのラジカセとカセットテープのみでプレイする初の「カセットDJ」として知られている。
カセットテープとラジカセによって、1980年代ヒップホップカルチャーのストリートの空気感を現代に蘇らせる。

JUNO B is a BOOMBOX DJ based in Tokyo who performs both domestically and internationally.

He is known as the first “cassette DJ” to perform using only vintage boomboxes and cassette tapes.

Through cassette tapes and boomboxes, he brings the street vibe of 1980s hip-hop culture back to life in the present day.
